The timeline varies depending on individual cases – however, once the procedure has been completed it takes about 4 months for the bone to heal and 6-12 months for dental crowns to be placed on top.
Most people with healthy gums and adequate jawbone density are good candidates for dental implants. However, patients with certain conditions, such as gum disease or bone loss, may require additional treatments before implant placement.
